RELIGIOUS CALENDAR: ISLAMIC HOLIDAY KURBAN BAYRAM
Today, Muslim believers celebrate the great holiday of Kurban Bayram (Eid al-Adha).
This holiday is known as the holiday of the sacrifice, because then an animal is offered as a sacrifice for the sake of faith and for the benefit of people.

Kurban Bayram is a holiday that lasts for 4 days (10-13 of the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah) and is called the holiday of the sacrifice. Characteristic of this holiday is the offering of a sacrifice - a sacrifice is usually a ram. The meat is distributed to the poor, neighbors and relatives. On this holiday, the pilgrimage of the pilgrims who went to the Holy Kaaba in Mecca is crowned. This holiday is the last in the Islamic calendar.
