The Commission for Relations with Religious Communities appeals to the citizens to celebrate the Orthodox holidays exclusively in the family
The Commission for Relations with Religious Communities and Groups, on October 26, 2020, sends the following APPEAL to the citizens:
The Commission for Relations with Religious Communities, in anticipation of the period in which a large number of families across the country celebrate the domestic Orthodox holidays, APPEALS to them, that these celebrations should be exclusively with the of family members.
The escalation of the coronavirus situation is accompanied by a pronounced local transmission of the virus, so any non-compliance with the protection measures by the health authorities and any gathering of people can be fatal.
Every family that celebrates a home holiday, to recognize the danger to public health that it would cause by inviting guests, but also any well-meaning family that celebrates this year to refrain from physical presence.
Tradition is not endangered, it will survive, but collective health is in serious danger!
