On May 21, the World Day for Cultural Diversity, Dialogue and Development, proclaimed by the United Nations and UNESCO, the Commission for Relations with Religious Communities and Groups (CRRCG) organized a cocktail at the Club of Members of Parliament in Skopje.
Previously, in the period from May 13 to May 21, on the World Day, the Commission for Relations with Religious Communities and Groups organized a series of events within the "Week of Common Prayer".
The President of the Government, Mr. Zoran Zaev, attended the closing event ministers in the government, representatives of the state leadership, representatives of state institutions and civil society, as well as representatives of churches, religious communities and religious groups.
The event was opened by the Director of the Commission for Relations with Religious Communities and Groups, Mr. Darijan Sotirovski, who welcomed the participants, emphasizing that it was the closing event of the series of activities carried out within the "Week of Common Prayer". The "Week of Common Prayer" was held in the period from May 13-21, with the main purpose to encourage cooperation and dialogue between religious communities, a stable and sustainable process of building trust, friendship and society of true human values, coexistence and progress.
Prime Minister Zoran Zaev addressed the guests with a message that cultural diversity is beneficial for all humanity.
